Stage 1
Initial Consultation
The first steps are initial consultation where we meet at your place to get to know your tastes and discuss design and space planning. We outline concepts, chat about architectural options, discuss site conditions, define your style and hand sketch ideas. An appropriate budget, timelines and clear next steps are discussed.

Stage 2
Budget and Proposal
Following our initial consultation meeting, we put together a proposal that is based on our understanding of your project scope. The proposal is a range that may be refined throughout the design process. We are mindful of your budget as we go through the design process to prevent any surprises down the road. We review the projected budget and concept sketches with you.

Stage 3
Design
If you are pleased with our estimate and decide to work with us, the next step includes signing a contract to start the design phase. We visit your home to take meticulous measurements to ensure a custom fit that you’ll love for many years to come. We draw out plans, including hand sketches along with 3D concept sketches and CAD architectural drawings and begin making suggestions based on what was discussed in the earlier phase. We discuss your project details at length and refine your goals. We agree upon materials, appliances and accessories as per your project design and budget. Once you are happy with the final design, we ask for a last sign off on the final project cost. After the sign off, we obtain approvals if required (particularly for NYC projects any Department of Buildings related approvals) and begin to order custom cabinetry.
Stage 4
Execution
After the custom order is placed we begin the execution phase where we select the best contractors and ensure that all items are delivered and installed as specified. On-site meetings are conducted when necessary to ensure that all elements of the design concepts are executed smoothly. Upon completion of the project, with your permission the end results are photographed and included in various publications.
Stage 5
Completion
As part of our commitment to excellence and careful consideration to detail, we do not consider our job finished until you are completely satisfied with your project. We’re here to help with questions or any maintenance concerns you may have.
